چکیده

Multispectral imaging using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) has changed the pace of precision agriculture. Actual evapotranspiration (ETa) from very high spatial resolution UAV images over agricultural fields can help farmers increase their production at lowest possible cost. ETa estimation UAVs requires a full package sensors capturing visible/infrared and thermal portions spectrum. Therefore, this study focused on multi-sensor data fusion approach for (MSDF-ET) independent sensors. The method was based sharpening Landsat 8 pixels to by considering relationship between reference fraction (ETrf) Vegetation Index (VI). Four were processed calculate three almond fields. Two flights coincided with overpasses one in two consecutive images. ETrf chosen instead interpolate 8-derived obtain an image flight. defined as ratio grass (ETr), VIs tested included Normalized Difference (NDVI), Soil Adjusted (SAVI), Enhanced (EVI), Water (NDWI), Land Surface (LSWI). NDVI performed better under conditions. MSDF-ET-derived showed strong correlations against measured ETa, UAV- 8-based METRIC ETa. Also, visual comparison MSDF-ET maps indicative promising performance method. In sum, resulting had higher compared thermal-based without need Albedo hot/cold selection procedure. However, wet soils poorly detected, cases continuous cloudy long interval may cause biases Generally, reduces information ground, calculations be conducted moderate-performance computer system because main processing is applied coarser resolutions.

A Two-Stage Approach to Multi-Sensor Temporal Data Fusion

This paper proposes a two-stage architecture for multi-sensor temporal data fusion. The first stage uses extended Kalman filters to track tokens seen by each sensor, and the second stage links the tokens corresponding to the same real-world event. Two pairs of strategies are presented relating to the initial data association between tokens and filters, together with decision rules for switching...

A New Approach to Self-Localization for Mobile Robots Using Sensor Data Fusion

This paper proposes a new approach for calibration of dead reckoning process. Using the well-known UMBmark (University of Michigan Benchmark) is not sufficient for a desirable calibration of dead reckoning. Besides, existing calibration methods usually require explicit measurement of actual motion of the robot. Some recent methods use the smart encoder trailer or long range finder sensors such ...

Uav-based Multi-sensor Data Fusion for Time-critical Disaster Response

We present a mathematical model for a UAV-based, multi-sensor data integration. As a background, we first discuss the design and the implementation of a low-cost civilian UAV system, including its field flight validation, system calibration, and mapping accuracy evaluation. Then, this photogrammetry-based mathematical model is developed. The field flight tests demonstrate that the designed low-...

Fusion Channels: A Multi-sensor Data Fusion Architecture

Due to the falling price and availability of sensors, information capture and processing at a realtime or soft realtime rate is emerging as a dominating application space. This class includes interactive multimedia, robotics, security and surveillance applications and many more. A common denominator of these applications is fusion of data gathered by various sensors and data aggregators. In thi...

Multi-source data fusion and super-resolution from astronomical images

Virtual Observatories give us access to huge amounts of image data that are often redundant. Our goal is to take advantage of this redundancy by combining images of the same field of view into a single object. To achieve this goal, we propose to develop a multi-source data fusion method that relies on probability and band-limited signal theory. The target object is an image to be inferred from ...
